Hanna Morre

Hanna Morre (b. 1981) is a Finnish writer and editor living in a small town in Southern Savo, Finland. Her speciality as a writer and editor is speculative fiction, especially for adult readers. She has written two novels, one non-fiction book about Finnish speculative fiction, and a couple of short stories.

Morre's second novel Vastatuulen lohikäärme ("The Dragon of the Headwind") was nominated for Kuvastaja Award 2023.

Central themes in her works include forests, power and family relationships, and dark undertones. Her favorite genres are fantasy, horror, history, romance and erotica.

Morre lives in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by forest. Her family includes a husband, two dogs and three Alfa Romeos. Morre enjoys knitting, metal music and hiking.
