Jenny Kangasvuo: The Will Upon All Flesh

The Will Upon All Flesh is a collection of twelve short stories. All stories relate to the themes of embodiment, metamorphosis, sexuality, gender, pleasure or death. Several of the stories are about the transformation of gender or body, and the collection has a strong leaning to queerness.

Some stories of the collection feature the ghostly creatures of Finnish folklore, others are set in the near future, in virtual realities. The human condition, aging, sorrow and domestic violence are the same as in the contemporary reality.
